"Lowell, MA - To me there is nothing more iconic than this era of the band and it was such a lucky break that I had the opportunity to capture this moment in time that went on to be so defining of their visual legacy. This was simply a case of a quick shoot for a magazine which ending up having its own life beyond that in so many ways. It was great working with the band at this time, it was just before they really broke out and became the voice of an entire generation. You never know what shoots are going to end up being so important in a bands timeline, this is arguably one of my most important shoots for that reason." Jeremey Saffer
